Each can is visually inspected and lids are manually opened to ensure proper fit and range of motion. This can features side handles, but no top handle.

Grade 1: Excellent to New Unissued – Cans show no sign of wear, except for very minor scuffs at contact points. They will have no signs of rust inside or out. Gasket on the lid will be present and in new condition. There will be no bends, creases or dents present. All grades may have markings, but grade 1 cans will not have any spray paint present, only military designations. Cans may have very minimal dirt, debris and/or water spots present due to outdoor storage. Interior will be dry but may contain an odor.
